Greetings from Scotland.
Being an amateur magician, I have been interested in close up magic via cards and coins for over 50 years.
With the above interest, I identified with the intricacies of some Tenyo items and then started to be a selective collector. Probably more interested in the method than the actual magical effect.
Cheers JimB

Hi Jim,

Welcome to this forum!

Like you, I actually also collect magic principles, and it is my desire to develop new/combined ones! But I also love to buy beautifully made items for instance from Magic Wagon.

Anyway, it keeps your brain busy, hope this forum will be of any help to you!

Hi Simon, Uzés is about 15 miles from our home and Norma and I often go there on a Wednesday (and sometimes on a Saturday) to the market.....there's a great atmosphere this time of the year as the weather improves towards summer. Are you planning another trip down this way in the future? If so, let me know as it would be good to meet up.

If you need a reminder of what life is like in southern France watch the film "A Good Year" - it's not Russell Crowe's best film, but it does capture the ambience of Provence / the south.

Once the mystic Ruby is a little older Uzés is the first holiday I want to take him on, i absolutely love it there. I used to kayak under the pont du gard and drive up to the chateaux nerf du pape festival, back when you'd buy a glass for 10 francs and drink from the fountain all day. if I ever come to France I will be sure to meet up, isn't the Internet great sometimes!
