Hello! My name is Bob Dureza. I am a Filipino magician. I have been studying magic for over 35 years.
I learned magic by reading books. There were no magic shops in my country then. The very first magic props that I acquired were the Tenyo Chinese Wands, Cubio, Silk Serenade, Crystal Tube, and Coin Thru Match which I bought from a department store.
With my Tenyo and some home-made props I started doing free magic shows while in high school. When I was in college, I was doing paid magic shows. I did close-up magic, children’s parties, stage shows, and illusion shows.
After I got employed I performed less shows but I started to collect magic books, catalogs, videos, and props.
Now, I no longer perform but I still study magic almost every day.
I have bought several Tenyo items in the past but have lost, damaged, or given away most of those. In January 2013 I started to build my Tenyo collection. At present I have about a hundred.
