Rob Rand from The Netherlands
Hello fellow Tenyo-and-other-amazing-stuff-freaks!
Being (so far) the only member from The Netherlands (huh? The Netherlands? isn't that a place in Denmark? ) ... with happily 1 person from our neighbouring country Belgium (David deTenyo), with whom I have mailed a lot and from which I bought some great Tenyo-items ... oh my gosh, I really don't know how to finish this sentence...
OK I'll start again... I am 60-year old (this is a tough confession from somebody who looks like he has just become 40... I really hope nobody is deeply shocked that this senior peson has ever dared to join this forum...) and started with discovering magic when I was 35 years old.
I wanted to become a good magician and thought that I could only achieve that with sleight of hand. My first magic props were the Morrissey cups and balls combination, linking rings and a lot of card decks. Practicing with these props for a long time was the only way for me. I saw the Tenyo-tricks in the local magic shop and thought they were for children.. all these self-working tricks with their nasty principles, I just found these tricks dishonest towards the audience... every jackass could do these tricks...
On the other hand, I did have the linking rings with that nasty gap in 1 of the rings, I had bought the c&b combination with the creepy chop cup.... And yes, I liked that card deck with the sneaky short cards between the long cards.
And when I read some books about magic and found out all the trickery Houdini and others did around 1900 ...
OK, at the end I began to like the Tenyo-tricks, and occassionally bought one,for instance, the now very rare Mystery China Box, the Telesphere, Silver express ...
And now, I have about 95 Tenyo-items, some bought at eBay, some from David deTenyo, and a lot from different webshops for normal prizes.
Besides Tenyo-tricks, I have a lot of other ones, from Magic Wagon, Viking, Johnson, and a lot from Made in India .
A year ago, I even began developing tricks myself. I made some from Lego and you can see them on Youtube (I have the same nickname on Youtube as on this forum: brotherbor.)

It has take some time Rob because I have recorded it 3 times till now........Rob Rand wrote: And I am very curious about your video of my hand-made cabinet!
I recorded it for the first time....and after all the edition was done a new idea come to me related with the special design of the cabinet.....so I recorded it again....and same story....when it was ready for upload, a new idea (this time related with the handling) came to mind so I recorded it again.....this time I hope is the definitive one!

Roberto, what a great video! I'm impressed with the new ideas you put into it! As you probably have noticed, I have removed all the double videos of Lintenkabinet on my channel, too much of the same is not OK.
And.. I won't make a second copy of the one you own, so you have a unique magic prop!
