New collector living in Vancouver from HongKong

Hi everyone my Chinese name is Shan and I am from Vancouver.
I started collecting just about a year ago and didn't know I had a tenyo item until I started collecting them, the first one I ever had was the mystic blackboard.
I am not a professional magician I just collect tenyos and some other magic tricks for fun and perform them only to my friends. I really like magic and what makes me so crazy about tenyo is how they are so cleverly made and how nice they just look! At first I thought it was just some plastic toy but now I have come to appreciate how beautiful they are:)
I don't know any magicians and have made no magician friends I'm kind of a loner when it comes to magic. Partially maybe it's because I'm female and it's hard for me to find someone like me that shares the same interest. My friends are shocked at first when they know what my interest is but now they really like seeing me perform some tenyo tricks and it makes my day seeing them get surprised at a trick and wanting to see more!
I currently have 60 tenyos none of them rare.(I do have 2 birdwatcher, but I don't think it's considered rare?) I'm very happy with my collection and thanks to John I now have ultraslice and quicksilver!:D

There are still so many new ones to discover and get.

Be careful not to come down with Tenyoitis.

Many of us have it and only a few have proven to be immune.

Wow! great to hear that there's a female who love Tenyo and other magic tricks. Globally there's a crisis but not with Tenyo buying/collecting them and other magics too. Hope Tenyo doesn't bother you even you're sleeping
