Sometimes the Si palest ideas are the most baffling. This trick is elegant in its simplicity. As brazen as plucking a coin from behind someone's ear :)
The minimal props and the transparency make this super sneaky. from the spectators perspective the clear box is what makes it an open and fair prop. Little do they know.. ;)
Now you see me...

I gave it a 10. Here's why.

It's ine of the FEW non-gimmicked Tenyo on the inventory. It's examinable. Its a great trick for all ages.

The ONLY downside to it (lamented by those on MagicCafe) is that you actually have to practice the trick more than most other Tenyo.

What?! A trick you have to PRACTICE? I know it sounds goofy, considering that magicians are constantly practicing, but it's true. To get the best result in this one. You'll need to practice it considerably. But man, it's worth it. I even have kids push the ball in the box, which seems to give the trick an even better reaction.
Where's my colon?!

I love props that looks innocent, ungimmick, very ingenious in the design and method, the secret is kept in magician`s mind. Burglar Ball has fulfilled those elements.

Burglar Ball (and Crystal Box for that matter) are everything a magic trick needs to be: easy to do, baffling, examinable, innocent looking.
I'm giving this a 10 since you can perform both Burglar Ball and Crystal Box routine with the props (I preper to do Crystal Box).
One of Tenyo's best, but unfortunately copied a lot by others ... .

Smart trick!! I didn't rate it high because it doesn't involve a lot of mechanism, which I love in Tenyo:)
A very good trick still none the less
