This is one of my all time favourites....the illusion is just perfect! :)

I remember waiting a long time to get this, and scratching my head all the way. I'd show people videos of it and they'd all say it was a camera trick. I got how the rock floated early on but the workings of the base I only found out once it was in my hands. Very clever the naming, and as Roberto said the illusion is perfect and that's exactly what this trick is, an ILLUSION. Your eyes are seeing something which your brain knows shouldn't be happening. It's one of those tricks you do a little laugh at when you try the props out the first time as it looks just like it does in the videos, unbelievable!
The illusion is a clear 10/10 but I gave it an 8 for the set-up, and maintenance of the props. Even as I type 8 seems harsh so I'm changing it to a 9. I'm going to go and get it out of the magic cabinet now and have a play :)

Love this trick also!!!!
Remember first seeing the video and I thought this was a tenyo I must have..
I wasn't disappointed it's amazing!
Very good illusion.. But somehow my thing never pops out..
I think there's a link here somewhere that teaches you how to fix that problem!
Very good tenyo

Yes indeed Shan, it's on John's website: http://funstuffonly.com/tenyo/performin ... r-improve/

Antigravity Rock is not a favourite of mine. The illusion looks so good on camera but in real life it was a bit of a let down. Sure, it still looks nice, but the fact you can not let the spectator examine the rock is a let down. I know, not all magic tricks need to be examined by spectators, and in most cases it all comes down to presentation, but if you take a plastic rock that floats and someone asks: "let me see that" and you have to say: "naah, you can't", well, then it becomes a puzzle and not a magic trick, at least with this particular item.
Nonetheless when performed correct with a good story and in the right conditions this still remains typical Tenyo ingenuity, but there are better ones in my opinion.

I'm still giving this an 8/10 (I would give it a 7,5 if that was possible) because of the VERY unique gimmick(s) (the 'plate-gimmick' is what makes this whole effect so impossible looking in my opinion).
So, it is a must-have for every Tenyo collector.

I just got in a used Antigravity Rock and it was "deflated." I was able to pump it up using the technique on the website and it became better than my performance one. Try it if your rock is not rockin' ;–)

Very good tenyo
I had a same problem too Shan but John`s solution was right. The pumping will help. Do not store the rock with the "gimmick" inside the rock. That`s why they deliver the ring sponge to support the gimmick once you store it.

Hi Jeff,
seems that the airbag has lost it`s elasticity. I have 2 of it, one have the same problem as yours. I`m not sure if we can repair and replace it, it seems impossible.

One important thing if we read the instruction, never store the the gimmick rock in locking position. It should be released. I believe this will keep the air bag in a good shape without any pressure.

Is is cold in the room where you're trying to do this? It rises more slowly in cold weather and more quickly in hot weather.

I guess it's just dead! I've heard that happens, but have never experienced it myself. You can still get them at a reasonable price.

Keep pumping, the one that I had barely moved and I got it to rise nicely after some patient pumping.

I agree, in the video the illusion looks interesting, in real not very convincing
For me is this rather a funny toy with short half-life - No, must have - 5/10
