This one is a clever little zig zag trick.

The way I like to do this one is to do the initial twist breaking the pencil and leave it like that.
Invariably the spectators with guess that the pencil is hidden in the space next to the windows.
I will tell them they are indeed correct and applaud them for figuring it out.
I will then ask them how they knew it was it was in that space and not the opposite spaces next to the windows as I turn the middle all the way around to the opposite side. :)

Totally agree with you Elliot and nice presentation idea too :)
I love every part of this prop. The idea, the mechanism, the principal, the construction on the prop and the design. It is very original and looks like a mini illusion. The weakness of this prop that we are not be able to replace the object with another one, not so flexible like the Zig Zag Cig. I`m not sure if someone has tried to make some modification. And the other weakness, it cannot be handed out for examination. But for me still one of the best and I rate it 9 out of 10 because of the weakness.

Good idea Elliot! I think this is one heck of a great trick, I could not for the life of me figure out how it was done before I got it in my hands, and that only happens on a few occasions let me tell you that. The secret is diabolical clever. It's easy to do and you can casually show the whole apparatus without fear of anyone discovering anything.
This gets a big 9/10 for me (not examinable so -1), a 100% must have for every magic collector.

I only have the Milton Bradley version, is there a marked difference between that and the tenyo one? I love the working of this trick but my MB one is a little sticky sadly so I dont perform it much as it gives me the 'shaky hands' (when I'm performing a trick that I know has a good chance of going wrong my hands wobble! I never end up performing these ones)

Any chance to see the pics of Twister MB version Simon ? :) I believe, it would be interesting to see other version for same trick. Thanks in advance Simon ! :)

I love this great trick for me it is one of tenyo"s finest, great gimmick, nice prop, and very baffling, I too could not figure this one out either until I owned it. mb games released a green version called twisted pencil, they also released it in a brown colour, I think I prefer the original twister by Tenyo if iam honest.

I think this was also referred to as Pencilla.

I can post MB Picts when I get home.

I will have an entire section dedicated to Milton Bradley Magic Works on the sister website hopefully sooner than later.

This will be valuable especially since I believe there is no MBMW in the Tenyo Book due out soon.

My interest in buying MBMW is growing. But, starting two collections at the same time? That is crazy!

why I do is collect tenyo first, and if an MB effect becomes available that I do t have the tenyo version of I get it, with an aim to replace it in the long term with the tenyo one. that way even if I don't I still have the effect to play with :)

You will be able to make a MBMW rather quickly. There are not that many and they are very often sold in large lots.

Just wondering, can the pencil be handed out to be examined? If so, I would be very tempted to buy one.

Yea indeed the pencil can be examined. It is totally ungimmicked.
