Why we have been waiting so long to put this little gem on the Focus On Tenyo section is beyond me! Thanks for the suggestion Hervé, it is indeed one of the best effects Tenyo released in the past years!

I absolutely LOVE this trick. It's so easy to do and has blown everyone away whom I showed it too, even my sister and brother in law who are mostly not that impressed with magic tricks ... .

It uses Lubor's Lens in a very clever way.

This gets a solid 9/10 for me.

It's an easy 9 for me but I will give 10 for the idea. 9 is because the prop could not be handed out for examination. The illusion is perfect and it can be replaced with many kinds of object. It came from Lubor Fiedler's genius brain.

you're welcome David.

I love this trick too and especially the version made bt TANISHImagic.
I give 9 and not 10 because the plastic can be suspicious especially if we have already seen a fresnel lens and also because "the prop could not be handed out for examination" as say Victor ;) .

I think this is one of the best last item achieved by collaboration from Tenyo and the late Lubor.

Great, illusion, I gave 4D Surprise a 10.
To me, it is one of the very best Tenyo effects.
I have never felt that I am obligated to offer a magic trick for examination.
I MAY leave one that is "clean" (accidentally) laying around, but it would probably be a closer.

10 out of 10 for this brilliant illusion.
I like to show my new stuff to my son who is quick to reveal most tricks, this one surprised him "like me"

This trick is a miracle, it even fools yourself! It is ingenious because it uses the Lubor Lens principle in an extreme clever way! And it is fantastic that you can change the background and the item you want to let disappear!

A 10 definitely!

I still remember the delight I experienced when I first opened the box and discovered this amazing effect and principle. And let's not forget the interesting apparatus!

Then, I saw the Tanishimagic presentation and was even more delighted!

It's one of those Tenyos which reminds us of why we love Tenyo magic so much... :D

Take a look at Lubor's original prototypes in Tenyoism: they were quite different in that the item which vanished was flat (2D, that is: printed).

Wow this one has become harder to find than I realized ... . I just ordered a spare from Germany. This one will become very collectible. I advise everyone that doesn't have this yet to buy it asap.

This will be over $100 in a year or two.

If you like to speculate get an extra or two.

I thought I'd 3D print a bust of Harry Houdini in a Bronze filament to use with 4-D Surprise. I think it turned out pretty good.

That looks great, Collin!

I have always liked the routine where the background changes color and a hotdog is produced. A demo can be found in John's original post at the top (third video).

Just a reminder or actually a warning - I see this trick being sold for way too much and people fall for it. It is still available at the 're-issue' price from a couple of months ago, a is Invisible Zone.

Hi David,

Where have you seen Invisible Zone available?
I saw it for a very short time after the re-release but can’t find it now.

Thanks

I fully realize this is old hat to many of you here but as a recent noob here to the forum, I acquired this spectacular effect for myself. It's cunning, if not diabolical and ingenious, all in one fell swoop!

After it came in, I performed it for my wife, who, over the years, has gotten pretty good at figuring things out. However, she looked at me and those words we have all heard before, "how did you do that?" came spilling out.

I smiled, as I was picking the prop up from the table and replied "it's magic."
