This is really a clever item, I performed it a while ago for some family members, everyone was amazed, unfortunately one guy wanted to look inside the tube and said Oh yes no I see how it's done. I must add that this person is not the most popular guy of the family.

Rob, when he took a peek may have been a perfect time to pop the balloon!

This is so much better than the old version I owned when I was a youngin! Of course, I loved it but this Tenyo version is a billion times better for every reason except the price. It retails for $40!

I have a funny feeling that it will soon be discontinued by Tenyo so, if you want one, perhaps sooner rather than later may be a good idea for when to buy it.

Am I the only one who expects the balloon to pop every time I perform it? This trick makes me downright nervous!

I've always had this one in the back of my mind, but haven't pulled the trigger on it. Certainly not something I can use in the hospital (unless they make non-latex long balloons), but it'd be certainly fun to use for parties and such.

Questions:

- Does it have any fragility issues

- Is it consistent in how it works? Or is it like Impossible Pen?

- Can you use any long balloon? Or did Tenyo make special balloons for this one?

- can someone else drive the spikes?

I like this one as well. Nice simple gimmick to do a really fun trick. Also one of the few Tenyo items you can do on stage.

Brett,
This is not really fragile at all. There's really nothing to break.
It would say it is very consistent after some practice. I've popped some balloons when I first got it but after a little practice you should be fine.
The balloons are standard 260Q balloons you can buy anywhere. Yellow balloons or a similarly tranparent color is best so the spec can see the spikes inside.
You can't have someone else drive the spikes in.

All right! Thank you!

My balloons often burst :( I must be doing something wrong, or perhaps I'm pumping the balloon up too much ... .

I don't know. That demo video above looked like it was pumped up pretty good.

Then again, I'm easily bamboozled with shiny objects.

What I do know is that my balloons, although stored in their original plastic bag, have probably reacted with oxygen and became easier to 'pop'. I think using 'fresh' balloons is something to consider ... .

Why do I have a feeling Simon is going to jump in with somekind of sexual remark?

Haven't look at it for a while but I seem to recall the instructions specifying how much to blow up the balloons.
I don't they wanted it fully inflated.
