For me, this is the epitomy of great plastic Tenyo apparatus. Cleverly designed and convincing magical effect utilizing a practical coin which can be signed. It's method is very cool!

Many of us wish Tenyo would once again design and produce props like this one. We long for the releases which got us so addicted in the first place. For me, it just isn't the same but with a few exceptions.
It's a Tenyo day in the neighborhood!

I am surprised that no one posted comments here so I'll do it. Maybe this will kick start it.

First, many have commented that this Tenyo has sound issues. If handled properly, it doesn't.

Second, I really like the Magic Works version. Great looking design and colors! Is that a Magic Works release which is better than the Tenyo version?

Third, it appears that the method was an inspiration for the Magic Wagon release, MYSTIC MIND SPHERES which I really like.

No, it was Jack Hughes who invented this effect in the first place. It was called Penetra-Spheres.

Jack Hughes created more than one effect using this principle, but Rob is correct.

Shimomura's version is a definite improvement because the item ends up inside a closed box. In Penta-Sphere the ball ends up under an upside-down shot glass.
