Absolutely agree with you Richard. Every parts of the props were precisely made. Kondo`s brain is truly remarkable.

How about T-243, 4D-Suprise ? (in my opinion, one of the best tricks of these last years)

That's one of my all-time favorite Tenyos!

The demo where the color of the backdrop suddenly changes to red and then comes a corn dog is so cool! :o

Oh...Tenyo discontinued this by the way.

I continue with the missing tricks I like ;)

How about:
- T-256 4-D Printer
- T-215 Magician's Matchbox
- T-188 Lucky Rabbit (we can see the rabbit on the web page http://funstuffonly.com/ ;) )

How about T-232 Balloon Illusion? It's a very convincing edge of the seat illusion and a million times better than the old original classic I had when I was a kid.

Never got my hands on one. my wife has a fear of balloons, can't be anywhere near them so this would be torturous for her!
May get one to show the mystic ruby one day

I think it has potential. But it's rarely talked about

What do you think about Mini-Morphosis (T-187) ?
I don't have this trick and your opinion would be welcome ;)

Mini-morphosis is really a 'must-have' because of its clever mechanism. AND ... it's invented by Angelo Carbone :)

And the famous presentation of SimonC of this trick, even mentioned in Tenyiosm, makes this a winnr!

It's a clever mechinism and it's fun to play with. The only thing I don't like about it is the noise. There is a big "clunk" when the magic happens and everyone i've tried this on wants to know what that big noise was. And of course it can't be examined.

Thanks for your comments and for the new topic about this trick ;)

The noise seems to be a little problem !

How about CRASH DICE? Certainly the best quality and designed version of this classic I remember seeing.

Crystal Pyramid seems to be worthy of appearing here. Handling, Magic Works version, etc. are worthwhile discussions for this terrific Tenyo.

Hi everyone,

Any chance that we could make a review on the T-218 Rising Card By Harry Devano ?
http://funstuffonly.com/tenyo/t211-t220/#t218
I have only the classic Bicycle version for this trick which (I assume) has similar mechanical works with Tenyo version. But somehow I heard some technical issue(s) with the Tenyo version. I hope I`m wrong.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Vic

Over the years, I have seen several versions of the card rise from deck effect. Not all of them use the Devano method. Tenyo's version isn't bad but does need careful handling and sometimes a nudge to work properly. Perhaps, with enough handling of the deck, one can master it without any technical issues. The original Tenyo demo was fine and without any technical problems as far as I could see.

By the way, who is that guy with the blond hair who did the demos for Tenyo for several years and what happened to him. He seems to have vanished! I always thought that he did a good job demonstrating Tenyo magic. Any info on him?

Thanks Steve, appreciate your feedback. I have chance to see the gimmick of Tenyo version from a collector friend and seems that his gimmick is broken because it is somehow stuck and cannot move easily up and down. The Tenyo version has more plastic on the gimmick and not the version I have currently. So it`s recommended to get the Tenyo version ;)

I am surprised that T-110 Zig Zag Cig never made it as a Focus On Tenyo!

Hi all!

What do you think to make focus for this 2 tricks:
T-127 Telesphere (for me, I think a focus is really needed but i am curious to see the result ;) )
T-231 Fortune Donuts (A trick that changes the habit)

Have a good weekend :D

How about Tenyo Diminishing Returns from 2007 which was a Japan only release?

It was Tenyo’s version of the MIke Powers effect and was actually the same thing but came with Tenyo designed backs. The Power’s release used a Bicycle deck and had a bonus trick which I don’t think was included with Tenyo’s version but not certain.

A great visual effect and very clever!
