World Clocks

Post by JohnM » Sat Aug 03, 2013 5:39 am

Guys,

An idea I had was to have world clocks across the top or bottom of the forum like in a newsroom.

I decided on the digital clock rather than the more iconic analog ones because they were easy to read and had AM and PM.

I have the HTML code all set but not sure how to create a window on the index page for them.

There is also a new BBCode called clock that you can use to embed a clock in your post. Click on the clock box above and insert the time zone between the brackets and you are all set.

Code: Select all

[clock]est[/clock]
For now I am going to create a sticky post at the top of the member section with the clocks for all our current members plus Tenyo in Japan. Go there is you want to see WHAT TIME IT IS.

Richard W. Here is your prize.

Thank you for the link to the Clock Link site

Now I have to figure out how to make a box on the index page so they can be in there down by the flags.

Yes, we have a member who lives in the Philippines. His name is Bob Dureza. He has not really gotten set-up yet but hopefully he will soon.

Guys,

I just added the member names next to each of the countries in the clock section.

When you get a chance can you please check your country and confirm that the time and flag are correct and that your name is there and in the right place?

Thank you.
