The last release by Magic Wagon for 2018 will be available on Sunday 25 November.

Total Serendipity

Two spectators are selected at random from your audience. They are then invited to pick up a mini deck of major Arcana tarot cards, examine and then thoroughly shuffle them. The performer then asks each spectator to confirm that they have never met before and that everything has been fair and above board. Now, each spectator is instructed to deal the tarot cards face up one at a time, counting aloud as they do so. Unbelievably, all of the 22 cards in each deck match exactly in perfect order, all the way through!

It really is an absolute miracle and as each card is dealt the effect becomes more and more unexplainable!

• The cards are genuinely shuffled by the spectators!
• The cards are not gimmicked in any way!
• At no time does the performer touch the cards!

Total Serendipity measures approximately 23cms wide, 3.5cms high and 18.5cms deep and has been completely handcrafted from natural aged teak wood with a lightly distressed oil finish.

This is, quite simply, one of the strongest effects we have ever devised!

Yes that's what I noticed too. In the description the wooden prop isn't mentioned! It is as if the wooden item isn't necessary) :D

It's pretty obvious that there's a switch. Therefore you need the wooden tray.

It looks nice though, and I am fond of tarot cards. Let's see what the price will be...

Not sure if this looks so nice as you see it but we as addicted people have special glasses on
You can do a lot of amazing card tricks with only nice Tarot cards - no need for mechanics
As the cards are mini-cards, the whole trick will not be too big and could look lovely ...

Yes you're absolutely right Olaf.. I have the Medieval Tarot, which is meant for magic tricks and mentalism. I have also a German book Das Mittelalter Tarot with many routines.

So for tarot lovers this wooden tray is not really necessary. It's more a Magic Wagon prop for the Magic Wagon lovers who love the quality of their props.

I have one important reason not to buy it: it's too large...

Was this a special Rob joke ? This looks more like a kid's toy to me
Measures approximately 23cms wide, 3.5cms high and 18.5cms deep
If you then divide this ground area by 3 fields everything is very mini !

I will likely pass, and agree they should mention how the prop is used during the trick.

Shuffling the cards and then putting them into a box and covering them, only to remove the cover moments later to begin dealing is strange to me. I assume the switch takes place when the decks are under the covers. It would be a much better trick if the switch could be done without the covers.

Agree with JohnB, the whole thing alone looks suspicious, specs may freely shuffle the tarot cards, then each deck is placed in the suspicious looking item, the openings are covered with a wooden lid. Patter patter etc. The wooden lids are removed, and now the spectators may take their freely shuffled deck and oh, what a coincidence, the order of the cards is the same! Spectators go baffled and speechless back to their chairs, and will have sleepless nights: how was that possible? Hmm did the suspicious looking tray play a certain role, and why have I never seen such a tray before?

I'm glad I'm not getting into financial stress, I can let it pass in a very relaxed way
But a worthy Christmas present could have pleased me - but I prefer it that way
I still don't understand why the pictures and descriptions can't be better ... ?

Sounds all nice, but with this little tea table it's just not convincing
Almost everyone will immediately think of a mechanical exchange
I like the basic idea, but the realisation is simply too obvious ..

I received my cooy of Total Serendipity.

It's typically old school magic. You can't show the bottom side.

But it works precise and with little noise.

Yet I can understand that not many will like the whole concept.

For me it is special, because in 2019 I must stop buying magic tricks. So I also won't buy Magic Wagon items anymore.

This is no joke but seriously.

During the past 10 years I have purchased too much magic tricks, books, dvds.

During 2019 I will sell lots of magic.

And I will focus mainly on making tricks from Lego.
