Monthly finds

Post by Peter G » Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:27 pm

Hereby a picture of the package I received today... I was very Lucky to find these for a reasonable price...

Does anybody has a manual in english for Up & Down ball?

Thanks!
Peter

Nice stuff Peter. I don't think there are translated instructions for Up and Down Ball. Mine came with Japanese instructions.

ooh congrats on fantastic, one of the best looking tricks imo, reminds me of the opening titles of a 60s thriller. if you make a video of it that would be amazing, there's not a single one out there.
Now you see me...

Rob: I was glad to find this (and the other pieces) underpriced, otherwise I wouldn't have it also :) - by the way, everything was used but great shape, except for Frame Of Destruction which was new.

John: Thanks for the info my friend. I will try to do my best with it without consulting my wife because the first one I Always perform for is her!

Those are indeed great fins Peter, congratulations! Do let us know what you think of Up And Down Ball which is one I would like to have, but the few reviews I have read (I only know 3 people who have one) are not good at all which makes me doubt I should buy one.

Congratulations for the great findings Peter !! Will you plan to make video from the up and down ball? Or maybe other senior collectors in the forum ? It could be interesting for tenyo lover and I believe there is no video available at the moment on youtube.

Congrats! Those are very nice finds indeed. I am still missing Fantastic. Have to find one of those one of these days...
I do have Up & Down Ball (no English instructions). I find it to be very clever but it will take a decent amount of practice to do smoothly. The only issue is that I find that the gimmick tends to get scratched up with use so I don't use mine very much. Although to tell you the truth it would probably not be too difficult to replace the gimmick if it does get ruined.

I completely agree with Elliott, except for the practice part...I find it very easy to do.
In my opinion it is also a very deceptive trick...my wife, who has seen a lot by now, didn't have a clue and was truly amazed... According to me, one of Tenyo's best.

Damn you Peter, I was hoping you wouldn't like it so my urge would diminish and now I HAVE to find one too! ;)

Once more, will you be making a video of it pretty please? :geek:

Just curious... Is the transparent tube part of the up and down ball?

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late reply, I was on a short holiday!
Maybe I can make a video in the future, but not for now because I don't have a camera to make it.
If I get one, I'll make a video for sure!

Peter
