Back to Tenyo!

Post by AlexBrazil » Sun May 27, 2018 5:18 pm

Hello again! I have been away for quite some time now. I have to confess that I have missed our friendly chats.

In the last 2 years, after going through a formal magic course, I have dedicated my investments to children and, now, adult magic. During this period, I bought just a few Tenyo, including the latest ones.

Well, last week I bought a collection from a friend (66 items). With that purchase, I got a lot of old tricks that I did not have. I am still insecure if I should have made that investment...but Tenyo is a passion.

So I am back to the forum, folks!

Here is a picture of the lot I bought. Actually, I bought 66 of those shown in the picture. Some are duplicates of items that I already own.

TREASURE!!! What an awesome haul, congratulations! Nice to see funnel vision, it seems to get overlooked a lot but it’s such a beautiful mechanism (even though it can be a bit hit and miss in performance. Have fun!!

An amazing purchase Alex! And don't cry for what you paid for it. It must have been much cheaper than when you bought every item separately. And think like a bookkeeper: Imagine that you purchased this during a period of 5 years, so that you paid 20% every year.

John and Simon, I am glad to hear from you again! I missed your good humor during the time I was away from the forum.

John, I remember that you have once said that you had bought some collections in order to get a few items that you did not have.

Yes, I bought more than one large Tenyo collection just so I could get one or two of the really hard to get Tenyos. I sold off the rest of the collections which is how I got into selling Tenyo.

Welcome Back Alex, great to see you back.
