KHAMUN RING MYSTERY by Magic Wagon

Available Monday 25 May!
Description
The performer displays a beautiful ornate cabinet and removes the front cover showing it to be completely empty. He then places the hexagon-shaped ring onto the floor of the cabinet and replaces the cover. The gold rod is then inserted through the slots on the sides of the cabinet with both of its tips remaining in full view. Now, and to prove that the ring is still on the floor of the cabinet, the performer gives the cabinet a shake so the audience can hear the ring sliding back and forth on its floor. Finally the performer snaps his fingers and removes the front cover of the cabinet revealing that the ring is now hanging on the gold rod!

Khamun Ring Mystery has been inspired by one of the rarest micro magic effects by Clarence Miller and called Nuts and Bolts. It is a stunning and inexplicable effect!

The entire outfit is extremely detailed and in the genuine Egyptian motif style. Each set has also been painstakingly and individually hand-crafted by our own exclusive artist.

The cabinet only, without the front cover in place, measures approximately 9.5cms wide, 9cms high and 6cms deep.

The photos really do not do justice to this very elaborate piece of magic apparatus! This is, without question, one of the finest and most exquisitely detailed effects ever produced and is absolutely stunning in appearance!

Someone on the Cafe mentioned another effect I didn’t know about, which is a bit similar to this one, also the name is a bit similar, it’s called Golden Disk of Amun Re made by Ted Leslie, it uses 3 rings, only 24 were made in 2010, here is a video:

https://youtu.be/BtDjN6MhvtM

Sold out of course.

By the way, I ordered the Khamun Ring Mystery, I find it interesting enough to have a copy, the Egyptian look is nice, and of course I’m curious about the way it works...

However, there are extreme similarities in the design, although the functionality is probably
different ... I like the triple presentation very much, much more suitable for a demonstration

It reminds me very much of a Thomas Pohle Dragon box. The functionality of the MW version
should be quite obvious ... But I like the design again. The sale starts quite fast this time, only
25 are still available after about 4 hours - If I choose to buy it, it's mainly because of the look.

Yes, the similarities in design are striking.

And yes, Thomas Pohle made his beautiful version, also with more than one ring...

I’ve once had Louie Gaynors Ghost Ring - Wand penetration which is a similar effect, but I sold it because I found it too large and because the handling was awkward.

I hope the handling with this MW version will be much easier :D

Good news for the Magic Wagon collectors and enthusiasts who had the time to order their copy! :D

Yes we were all longing for a new MW effect... and this one looks sooo good!

So glad I ordered a copy! I have a soft spot for ring on rod effects :)

And yes, it’s been a while that MW items sold so fast!

They deserve it!

Agreed, I'm glad for them and especially for Pattavoot Sangruchi who works so hard every month to bring us these magical treasures!

I'm a huge fan of "ring on rod" effects too! This one reminds me their Emperor Ring Cabinet, which is one of my all time MW favorites! Hopefully, the vanishing of the nut will be clever and unnoticeable... We shall know very soon! ;)

Rob, you must have been so full of desire that you decided to buy a resin trick 😲

I hope you like it and he can stand up to all the beloved teak companions 😉

Haha ... well, I have some resin pieces by MW ...

But the design of this one is great!

The Egyptian design and resin is just a very good combination :)

Yes, it's a nicely made prop with this mystic egyptian style. My decision whether to buy or not became obsolete when it sold out unexpectedly fast. So, I am also looking forward to seeing the first video demonstrations of the KRM :).

Yes, received it today and here’s the video:

I’m not sure if Madison ordered it, but I know that Europeans receive their copy first... :)

Wow look at that not one but two videos and so quickly too great job guys!
Unit looks great nothing over done.
Not too big not too small nice size easy to see and handle.
The method for me was easy to guess.
After watching both videos I may be right. ;)

Sold out right away that is good news for MW.
Well done we have a winner.

Like to see someone add another phase in a video.
Its a good effect but making it last longer would be nice to see.
Maybe Olaf will add some hot sauce in a video. ;)
"let's continue on with this carnival-like atmosphere"

Both are good videos, but Madison does something rather clever to avoid the biggest drawback to this kind of trick. Great thinking, but probably best suited for video, where the camera is fixed. Not saying his method can't be used also in front of a live audience, but I'm fairly certain it will be somewhat more difficult.

Yes, thank you guys for your excellent video presentations. In „reality“ the prop even does look better than on the photographs

And there is even a third video, just posted a moment ago!

It’s from Bloodmoney80, a nice guy called Jay, we have regular email contact :)

https://youtu.be/058fvMt7AaE

By the way, it is his first Magic Wagon effect!

Would be nice if everyone who owns this item would take the time to post a video :)

Hmmm maybe not ... with the exception of simcoscor of course!
