You present a set of colorful cards with pictures of birds on them and tell the audience that they are practice cards for bird watchers and that you are going to use them for a mind reading experiment. You have an audience member choose one of 14 different birds from the index card and share their choice with the audience as you turn your back. You then show 4 location cards representing a backyard, a park, a sanctuary, and a forest where the audience member will search for their bird. You hand the cards to the audience member and instruct them to mix the cards so you will not know which cards they are looking at. You tell them to search each location card for their bird and keep the card if their bird is present, and if it is not, hand it over face down. When they are done bird watching you can easily determine their chosen bird which you reveal in a creative way.<\/em><\/p>\n

Making sponge rabbits appear is more interesting to me than the sponge balls provided with Parabox. With this presentation, 3 sponge rabbits appear one at a time from the boxes as they “gozinta” and “gozouta” each other. The decals on the Blue Box and the Red Box tie the rabbits to the boxes and also help make a differentiation between the boxes that is important to the success of the audience appreciating what is happening with the boxes. One set of decals is provided to turn the Blue Box into The Bunny Brothers’ Shipping Container. A\u00a0second set of decals is provided to turn the Red Box into The Bunny Brothers’ Cage but we tell them it is their “Dressing Room.” ;\u2013)<\/em><\/p>\n

The colorful poster is an interesting addition to the routine and it reenforces that The Bunny Brothers\u00a0are known as the Teleporting Magicians which accounts for them appearing in the boxes and moving from hand to hand in the sponge rabbit routine (optional phase). The poster also has a function in that it hides the extra\u00a0rabbit needed for the sponge rabbit routine.<\/em><\/p>\n

With this presentation you can stop after making the three rabbits appear from the boxes or you can continue on with a sponge rabbit routine (full photo illustrated instructions included) and even add the sponge rabbits “performing” some Tenyo tricks for a third phase.<\/em><\/p>\n
