Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

Each time they come up with a new product that always say something like with this one: "This is, without question, one of the finest and most exquisitely detailed effects we have ever produced. It is absolutely stunning in appearance!" I never got started collecting MW as they are very expensive a...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

Most of the tricks seen in videos are figured out pretty quick by most of us; don't let that influence you ... in diciding to make a video of it ... :) I have a different attitude, it's true that many videos can unravel the mystery, but mostly only by some experienced magic friends. But there are a...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

I'm surprised it sold out so quickly, but it's obviously good for Magic Wagon it did Will be interesting to see if any videos of the trick pops up, but I hope so. I was also very surprised that this trick sold out so quickly, because there were not many positive comments in circulation. Of course t...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

I like it as a collectible, but I don't think it is a good trick Even if it seems obvious, it's a classic magic trick, in addition a second appearance sets a highlight At first I wasn't that impressed but now I'm very excited about the detailed artful workmanship The table, the pedestal and the squ...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

My opinion is: what a stupid trick ! I don't find this trick so stupid in the Magic Wagon version at all Through its small size and "double appearance" it has its own charm With a convincing presentation, the effect can also be quite impressive This seems to be the original Aldini Bowl Production v...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

I love the look of this, I'm in. I'm not sure if I'll choose it, the trick is quite obvious even for a layman, even if he doesn't know exactly how it was done technically. The good thing about this MW trick is that it has never been produced by Magic Wagon before .. and is therefore a real novelty ...

Re: Maguc Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

This is an item I will definitely not purchase, it is absolutely not my style Regardless of the clever mechanism ... I would have liked Magic Wagon to have produced this trick with different materials. The round table made of wood, the lotus platform made of golden resin, lion in white or black soa...

Re: T-106 Ribbon Forever

I like the thinking behind this trick but I've never been able to perform it properly as in the instructions. When pulling the ribbon i find it tends to slide around a lot throwing off the illusion. The timing also has to be exact. Perhaps with enough practice I could have gotten it working right b...

Re: The Greatest Magician In the World

I bought the German version for 5,- EUR at that time, over 15 years ago in Hugendubel book store if you are familiar with. I bought several books, sold em partly and gave it to friends as a gift. I only have 1 now :(. They were so many in the stack of books and they are still brand new sealed. I sh...

Re: This looks very familiar!

There is now a 3d version of Ring Escape, called Ring Tower I like all three versions, whereby the tower is even more pleasing from the effect sequence but does not look as noble as the other two versions. The safe version is suitable for a modern narrative but I tend optically more to the Red Chin...

Re: This looks very familiar!

Yes, you don't have to push the wand down, but pushing the wand down, penetrating the ring and box, does enhance the illusion in my opinion ... but that could be just me ;) NO - you are not alone - for me just this optical sword penetration is the main effect ! This expensive version looks very goo...

Re: The Greatest Magician In the World

The Setteducati book is very hard to beat. I am sure there are others. I found a video of this book where all the tricks can be seen, you're right, it's a very good book but I personally don't like the graphics so much but that's a matter of taste. The book is also hard to get new at an acceptable ...

I love this one. I found it on a trip to Vegas in 2011. I had so much fun with it in my hotel room. Talk about clever! I hate there isn't more Fiedler magic around. He was so brilliant. I love this one too !!! - Yes Mr. Fiedler is a great inventer, who always receive good reputations I do not care ...

Among the books of this type, I would rank them in this order: 1) The Magic Show Book by Anne Benkovitz and Mark Setteducati 2) Illusionology: The Secret Science of Magic by Albert D. Schafer 3) The Greatest Magician in the World Hi John, do i understand it right, the other mentioned books by you a...

Mini Diceolation is available Since I wasn't liquid at that time and I didn't really like the design of the inner wooden box, this expensive investment luckily passed me by.
