Re: Great Alternate Routine for Card Surgery by Roberto

Fantastic John, Now that's great inventive thinking! I love the use of the paint brush and glue idea. It also fits with the card being in a plastic dish, because you don't want the glue to get everywhere! Very nice!

Re: This one baffled me...

Simon I thought about this overnight and did have one small comment. I don't know if it's worth considering or not but here it is. A dice normally has rounded corners, I wonder if you can trick the eye by putting a slightly rounded corner on your vinyl face stickers. I would suggest a very small rou...

Re: This one baffled me...

It's looking great Simon! A vinyl application sounds like it will be a great solution to the colour change. I did have a few observations, it appears that even after the colour change occurs the top die has to remain black because it's top surface can be seen from both sides. Also to eliminate the b...

Re: This one baffled me...

Really brilliant job Simon, but I also agree with Rob the colour change on the spots is cool but could actually go over the heads of some audiences. It's a great idea, but a little more subtle than the dice changing colour. All that said I am very impressed at how quickly you were able to get your p...

Re: Hello from Canada

The Winston Freer puzzle is a great puzzle, I don't know of a good source for one. A while ago I did see a cheap knock off version on EBay, but I believe it wasn't a true Winston Freer design as the performer needed to pawn off a piece for it to work. The Winston freer version does not require you t...

Re: Zig-Zag Card

Very nice Pete! I made myself a version of this awhile ago, but I like your version better as your version places suspicion equally on the card and the card frame where my version places the suspicion mostly on the card. I think your version would leave the audience scratching there head more than m...

Yes, this is spot on and based on an older version with cylinders. I don't know how he can charge 800 Euro for this?? The Dr. Marrax versión cost less than the half: J7rOvuzfQ1Y I believe the original trick is aclled Mystery of The Pyramids by UF Grant.....recently there was a re-make of it with a ...

Hi Simon, I do sell them but there are many collectors that request them so to make it fair to all collectors I normally sell them via auctions. I currently don't have any for sale, but if your interested in puzzles and puzzle boxes there's a good site for craftsman puzzles here http://www.puzzlepar...

Re: Silicon Spray for Hard-to-move Tenyo Tricks

I too would be wary of a silicone spray, what might be safer is wax. You could try to rub a candle or magicians wax on the surface that is sticking. A little unseen wax might be just enough to allow the parts to slide without damaging anything. You may want to test it first on a similar type of mate...

Re: Recreating Tenyo

Thanks for the kind words. Funny you should mention Mini-morphosis. I had a fellow magician that knew I was into woodworking ask me to create a wooden prototype of a magic effect he had created. We set up a meeting so he could show me the effect and after seeing his performance I was sorry to tell h...
