Hello,
My name is Simon Corneille (aka Simcoscor on the Internet). In the real life, I have been working in Marketing Research all my life and I founded my own Research Company 20 years ago. I live in Montréal, Québec, which is the French speaking part of Canada. English is a secondary language for me and I am still working on it every day!
I developed a keen interest in magic at a young age... When I was at the kindergarten, I used to make a hair pin vanish at my fingertips to impress the cutest girls. Rapidly, I saw the potential magic could have on my life.
Sometimes, on Saturdays, my father was taking me at Morrissey, which was the only Magic Shop we had in the Montréal area at that time – a one hour drive from home. It was the era of the “Wonderbar” and the alike. I remember Steve Dusheck as my favorite magic creator at that time. I always saw him as a real genius...
Then came Tenyo... I cannot remember for sure which has been my first Tenyo, but it probably was the T-110 Zig Zag Cig... Gee, I was impressed! And then T-108 Soft Coins, which has been a personal favorite and probably the trick I performed the most often in my whole life!
Several years later began the Tenyo chase, every time I was visiting a new town...
Here is a view of my Tenyo collection as it was back in 2012... I have yet to buy new suitcases for the more recent releases...
I have an interest in collecting magic from other manufacturers too. Here is a partial view of my Alan Warner collection.
I collect other crazy things too... like finger choppers!
For the past 10 years, my main interest has turn towards Magic Wagon. This is the main reason why I decided to join this Forum. I am currently the administrator of the Magic Wagon group on Facebook, and the OP of the Magic Wagon thread in the Secret Sessions area of the Magic Café. Over the years, I had the chance to contribute to some of their releases.
Thank you for your attention and your consideration!
Simon
