IP blocked & blacklisted ?
IP blocked & blacklisted ?
It seems that some can no longer post in the forum because they get a message:
Your IP address is blocked and blacklisted - This is also the case for me.
I have no idea what is going on and if someone can fix this ?

No one is blocked It has happened to Mr too a few months ago. A day or two later everything was OK again. I have no idea why this happens sometimes ... .

Heads up guys.
I just noticed I am two day past due on the payment for this server to the service provider.
I will get it taken care of, just wanted to let you guys know if there is a disruption in service.
It does not have anything to do with the other problem we are having.

Re: IP blocked & blacklisted ?
Well guess who else got the blacklisted msg? Me.
It was a site called spamahause.org that was checking IPs against some black hole list. I turned that off.

OK, we are all paid up for 3 more years.
Obviously, I have not been into Tenyo and Magic as much as I was, but we just renewed for another 3 years and I want to support the great members here.
What should we do with this forum:
1. Leave it as is, quiet and friendly is good.
2. Expand a little with new sections to attract new members (members could volunteer to lead this expansion)
3. Open it up and make it a general magic forum (I would need a lot of help doing this)

I like the quiet friendly nature of this forum (1), but that's just me. Thank you for renewing 3 more years John, very much appreciated!JohnM wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 5:45 pmOK, we are all paid up for 3 more years.

What would option 2 look like as far as expanding new sections?JohnM wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 5:45 pmOK, we are all paid up for 3 more years.

Re: IP blocked & blacklisted ?
I prefer option 1. Option 3 would have been a possibility if Themagiccafe wouldn't be up and running again. Option 2 is of course also possible, but in the past years I have seen quite a few new members but hardly any one of them is actively contributing ... .
And of course John, thank you so much for hosting (and paying for!) this forum
