I present you my method of low-cost storage in the hope that it may be useful.
Here are the prerequisites:
- Not showcase (waf problem)
- Low cost
- Be able to see objects easily
- Protect the objects from light.
I had initially thought of using bags with foam blocks but the price rises quickly.
So I bought wooden blocks composed of three drawers:

Size is about 30x30x30 cm. The cost in hypermarket of Do-it-yourself is $ 10.
Then, I bought aerobics mat at a price of $ 2 per unit (Perhaps I should keep one to do more sport

In each drawer, I put two foam layers. I cut the foam around each object. If the subject is profound, I cut the two foam layers. In general, I try to cut the upper foam to put the item and I cut the bottom foam to hide the gimmick. I need three mats for a block of three drawers.
Here's an example with Tenyo 2017:
- I put the items in the drawer without foam.

- I cut two pieces of foam with a wonderfull template

- I cut objects locations. Here is what happens with the 4 Tenyo 2017 items:

and when the objects are removed,we can see the second foam and objects below:

Next step, Like lego, I put the blocks on each other. This is a photo with 6 blocks:

and with some open drawers:

In a block, I put about 15 items (5 per drawer). The cost per item is around $ 1. It seems to be reasonable for me
