Hi from sunny Northern California
Hi from sunny Northern California
Hi everyone. Hello from StevenR in the bay area (i.e. Silicon Valley) of northern California. I'm a transplant from Canada who came south many years ago seeking more than a few days of nice sunny weather a year. Anyone else live in the San Francisco bay area? I've been collecting Tenyo for many years, although I didn't know I was, for a long time. After I started actively collecting, I realized I had a lot already in my magic collection. And I suddenly regretted the Tenyo items I had traded away in my earlier pre-collecting life. I'm a long time amateur magician, with a focus on clever close up magic, and interesting small apparatus. Strangely enough, one of my other hobbies is puzzles, where I also like clever mechanisms, and "Aha" moments.

Welcome to this friendly place!
It's a Tenyo day in the neighborhood!

Hi Richard,
Of course I should buy Tenyoism, and I bought it when you first announced it. Fantastic book. And I am a long time (decades) subscriber to Genii. I also read the Genii Tenyo forum. I am quite a fan of all things Genii, including the head Genii.

Hello Steve,
I love the Bay area!
Our Band played the Monterey Bay Blues Festival 4 times.
We have shared the all 3 stages (Main, Garden, and the Presidents stages) with B. B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Keb Mo, Charlie Musselwhite, and many others. Love Highway 1, and Point Lobos. (Cyprus Walk) Big Sur is one of the most beautiful locations in the USA.
Welcome, & have fun!

Wow! B. B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Keb Mo, Charlie Musselwhite - I'm very jealous. You are right about Carmel and Big Sur. One of the most beautiful places in the world. You should check out the Tassahara hot springs Zen monastery in the Big Sur wilderness off the Carmel Valley. During the summer they take guests. You will feel like you are in another world there.
