I like this prop from a time when clever plastic props (which us Tenyo Forum members love so much) were released more often.
Although I performed it on several occasions when it came out, I haven't done so lately.
One good thing about it is that you can draw a wide variety of things other than a spoon which makes it versatile.

I personally love this trick especially the improvement. It took me a while to figure out on how it works but my guesses were wrong. Until I bought it and really amazed by the principle. This really took the classic Out To Lunch principle to the next level.

Re: T-225 Mystic Blackboard
OUT TO LUNCH is an old classic that I always loved. For some reason, the old standard version is no longer made but you can do it yourself.
Over the years, I remember two alternate versions being available; one for a short time and the other I believe is still in being made but I don't like that version. The one no longer available utilized a color depiction of the Statue of Liberty and the other has a color illustration of a fortune teller and a crystal ball. I attached a photo of this one here.
That method has been utilized in other effects as well.

Re: T-225 Mystic Blackboard
Mystic Blackboard is one of those tricks that I should be doing more often but don't for some reason.
Maybe it's the fact that I can't really draw so I find the setup a little difficult.
When I do this trick I usually use it as a followup to Card Toon. I will perform Card Toon and ask if they would like to see the little magician guy do another card trick.
I bring out Mystic Blackboard with a drawing of the same stick figure holding a giant card above his head (that is the extent of my drawing abilities). The card is either blank or I could say it is the back of the card.
Anyway I have them "pick a card" and when I show the Mystic Blackboard again, the card the little stick figure is holding is now "turned over" and is showing the selected card.
