That's cool! I spent a while thinking about secret juice pumps and hollow juice filled frames then the secret clicked and I felt very silly, it's a much simpler secret, quite sneaky actually thanks Roberto

Re: This one baffled me...
Hah yeah I got it - first time I watched :p I saw 'it' move a bit ... . Very, very clever!!! And not that hard to make yourself, but the lightning and angle have to be perfect for a performance I believe Great for parlor!
Simon or Rob, I believe this could be a very nice project for you guys!
Ikea for example sells small square mirrors (I bought a pack the day before yesterday) and there's also this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acrylic-Mirror- ... PYSS3WW5FP for the 'f****' mirror

Yes, great performance, and after watching it 3 times and some logical thinking I saw how it was done... clever! Yes this is relative easy to make...

Re: This one baffled me...
Yes very nice routine but... The right angle counts. I believe in a real performance the second part would fail, unless you have 1 spectator watching from a certain angle. So I consider this more as a videotrick than a real life trick.

It feels like performing Tenyo Eclipse RobRob Rand wrote:Yes very nice routine but... The right angle counts. I believe in a real performance the second part would fail, unless you have 1 spectator watching from a certain angle. So I consider this more as a videotrick than a real life trick.

Yes Victor, but Eclipse is imho better.
By the way, I just love tricks with mirrors. Made some with LaQ now, soon to be seen on a video. Not ground-breaking, but I have a nice twist...

Re: This one baffled me...
Speaking of magic using Mirrors, I've been having fun this week trying to make the right mirror and bag for Twilight Angels which I got last week. I found some sheet metal which had one mirrored surface but still a little worn and aged, cut it to size and stamped my new JH monogram on the back. I then made a small bag using some hessian coffee sack and applied the same monogram. It gives it a nice feel and the 'angel catcher' appears to be more of an object.

So cool Simon, Twilight Angles is one of the best card trick ever invented. I really love printed card gaffs and this in one of the best I believe, the version you got is the Mandolin deck version one right ? The previous release came with Bicycle Card.

This reminds me of a mirror puzzel from Rubik with the same patterns on the blocks, yellow/red, on the video this principle Is used in a very clever way!David DeTenyo wrote:I stubled upon this one a minute ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nAQnYHUHZw - nice use of a mirror too!
