Magical Potential for Mouse Balls

Post by Izzy Jay » Sun May 29, 2016 9:35 am

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. Sounds the most right.

So, here's the question. I got a bag of about 20 mouseballs. They're those metal balls covered in rubber that used to be used for in the computer mouse before everything switched to laser.

I'm just wondering, are there any tricks where these things can come in handy? Except for cups and balls that is. Already tried that. They're to heavy and very noisy.

Thanks in Advance

That will be good for mental magic which I forgot the name (Max Maven`s named his version as The Kurotsuke or Tenyo named it as Telepathic Stone http://funstuffonly.com/tenyo/japan/#stone) I don`t know how the Tenyo version works but you can make similar Kurotsuke effect.

All you need are:
1 tiny piece of neodyum magnet that will attract to the black ball.
1 band aid (for easiest version)
3 glass playing marbles which have similar size & weight of the black ball.
1 small cloth bag prefer the dark color one.

Preparation :
1.Put the magnet on your palm and fix it with band aid so it will not move.
2.Put all balls into the cloth bag and put it on your palm and by doing mixing movement, you will realize one of the ball will attract to the magnet ( the black one)

Performance :
1. Introduce the balls to the spec and explain that you will find the black ball with your psychic ability (without looking).
2. Put all balls in the cloth bag and mix it well.
3. Now you will offer the balls to 4 specs.
4. Let the 1st spec take a ball and close it in her/his fist.
5, Put the bag on your palm (where you have the magnet) and do mixing movement. If you feel that one of the ball is still attracted to magnet, means that the black ball is still in the bag.
6. Continue step 4 and 5 to the 2nd 3rd and 4th spec.
7. By doing this, you will realize which spec having the black ball.
8. After all specs receive 1 ball, let them have a peek in order to know what kind of ball they get.
9. Because you know already who get the black ball, all you need to close the routine is to act by "reading" spec mind. Eliminate first the spec who get the marbles before you reveal the one who get the black one.

This is just a very quick explanation but hope you get my point ;)
Good luck and have fun !

By the way : I`m afraid we should move this thread to the members only section ? :)

Another idea :
Danny Archer`s 3 Ball Routine :

No preparation required but all you need to do is practice :)

The old rope prayer vase routine where a rope placed into a small mouthed vase stays suspended in the vase, the magician is then able to hang the vase suspended on the rope. See here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b-C9cVewnlQ

You should be able to figure out where your mouse ball comes into play : )
