YES! I have this one! (thanks John)
I love trisector, the mechanics are very satisfying and as with most tenyo, I thought I knew how it worked and the actual method was ten times cooler (quicksilver is the latest of these to do that).
I had great fun playing with it and I also love the fact that it is 'customisable' to any note you wish, tho I haven't tried this myself.
The only adaptation I made was to cover the plates with silver vinyl so they looked metal. I do however still plan to make an appropriately sized graphic of a lady (berhaps Barbara bones, the lovely fillie in my avatar) to use instead of a note so I becomes a miniature stage illusion. This could form part of a series of mini stage illusions like the vanishing point mod (see printables) it would be really cool to make a mini stage set up and perform it like a las vegas magic show (mini smoke machine?)
maybe when I win the lottery and have some more time ;)
sorry, got carried away again, its what happens when I type on a normal keyboard instead of on a tiny phone screen.
in short, I like trisector lots.
Si

I tried to wrap the blade with a thin sheet of aluminum but it was too difficult to cut to the right size so I gave up. I also came up with a small medallion sticker of a Ninja. I was going to add the sticker with the metalized blades and re-name it Ninja Box but that never happened since the blade refinishing did not work.

I replaced the japanese billet with an old dollar bill (of course you need actually 2), and using a same old dollar bill it looks so realistic, it really is an impossible looking effect for the spectator! Really love the mechanism, so so cool and clever!

I also purchased the Japanese version and had to redo it for a US dollar. Thanks to JohnM for sending me the instructions because it would have been tough to figure out exactly how its done without them.

I love this trick! It still can be purchased for a great price and I would rate it in the top ten.
The mechanism is just fantastic!

Hi guys, trisector is also one of my favorite. But I'm just thinking of another idea. Zig zag lady should work for this. Even we can add animation on it. Let say we have a card with a lady on it. She has a smiling face. On the gimmick we place the lady with shocking face. The blade go first to upper part and imagine what animation we can get. From smiling face to shocking face. It will look very cool. Maybe we can add another animation for the leg part. Well it will give us another additional cool effects and it should work. I haven't tried it yet but I believe this will work. Any volunteer to make the design for printables ? :) Thanks in advance.

Super great idea Victor. Simon mentioned above the Zig Zag Lady and your addition of the changing face and graphics is Fantastic.

We have to find the right graphic for the lady. Simon mentioned using the lady from Bare Bones and I think that is probably perfect because it is a bit comical and I think the changing face is best handled in a comical manner rather than a realistic manner. Plus it it Tenyoesk.

On the back of Trisector English package Tenyo even mentions "Zig Zag Girl."

Simon mentioned working on this but he is hard at work on a new creation that is very impressive. It is truly great, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I will work on this. I have a slimmed down version of our gal that I created for the Tenyo Art Gallery project.

The graphic for the Zig Zag Lady is done and it fits pretty well into the frames of the Trisector.

Next I will print it out and change over a Currency Trisector to a Zig Zag Lady Trisector.

Once that it done and all is tweaked, I will upload the files to the Printables thread. http://funstuffonly.com/tenyoforum/view ... f=10&t=130

Great John! Love it!!!
I especially like it that the yellow and blue colors of the lady combine/contrast perfectly with the red color of Trisector!
