• Explain to students the
requirements and aid students throughout the assignment

Will:
• Imagine they are an explorer they learned about in history. They will write five journal entries
pretending to be that person. They will
include facts and details learned about in history as well as provide anecdotes
in their entries. When all entries are
complete students will make authentic looking journals. They may stain paper with tea bags, burn the
edges, etc.
