T-149 Dragon Altar on PLANET TENYO
Can't that be explained as hearing the magic happen? I never had a problem with that noise.Richard Kaufman wrote:Yet another trick with a noise issue.
Interesting indeed - a year after Tenyo released Dragon Altar, Paul Daniels performed this larger version in his show. Paul was known to buy all sorts of little gimmicky stuff, he performed Parabox too in one of his tv shows. I think he stumbled across Dragon Altar and decided to make a larger version of it. Sad we can't ask him anymore ... .VictorS wrote:Repost:

No one said that you have to make a reference to a noise. That's up to the performer. I prefer to make a comment rather than bang on the table or make some other obnoxious noise.Richard Kaufman wrote:How many Tenyo tricks can you get away with doing by saying, "Do you hear that click [you can substitute thud, or bang, etc.], that's when the magic happens."
That's a really bad way to perform magic. Laymen are not stupid.
Good point David!David DeTenyo wrote:About the noise ... if a ball passes thru a coin and lid, isn't it supposed to make a noise?
